Question;

My main concern at this time of year is how to reduce/eliminate condensation when on site.

Re internal and external thermal blinds for motorhome cabs - Is there a generally held opinion as to which is preferable?

What are the pros and cons of each type of thermal blind?

How beneficial are small dehumidifiers?

Answer:
Humidity in motorhomes is a problem. If trying to limit the condensation on your windows the external blinds work the best. The down side of this is where to store the blind if its been raining. Most people choose the shower. On a personal basis I prefer the internal blinds as it gives the option to partly open them to view out side. Plus when its raining I can take the blinds down and drive off without having to leave the van and get wet.

Dehumidifiers are a very good option to remove moisture from the van, however I'm unable to give comment of the effectiveness on each type as my experience is only with bigger units. I think at the end of the day, any sort of moisture removal system is a good move.
